Genetics: teaching and learning

For Christmas, my husband gave me a digital subscription to Science, one of the world's  top peer-reviewed science journals, published by the American Association for the Advancement of Science. While reading the current issue, I came upon an article about this site: Learn Genetics by the Genetic Science Learning Center at the University of Utah.
It's an interactive site covering the basics of genetics research, providing resources for students (K-12) and the general public, and is really a valuable educational tool. It has a sister site, Teach Genetics, for K-12 teachers.

So if you're a teacher, parent, or just want to learn more about how genes work, this is highly recommended!
(Now I'm in the third year of my Advanced Science degree, I am starting to specialise in genetics and plants. Genetics is the nuts and bolts of evolution and I am aching to sink my teeth into it. Of course, mixed metaphors like this might end well up with a trip to the dentist.)

Thanks, Catmint--that's much appreciated. Sometimes, when you blog, it feels like you're just typing into the ether. Feedback like yours makes it so worthwhile. :)
